Meet the Team

Lynn Bradley
Lynn BradleyDirector
Lynn is a member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) and has several years senior management experience. Having started in Marketing, her career progression took her into sales management and then on to head up the HR department of a multi-national financial services company.

She launched Pennine HR in February 2010 alongside husband Steve to provide practical HR and people management support to businesses that need it. Her broad commercial experience enables her to advise, support and guide businesses through their own personnel issues with an understanding of regulation, best practice and what’s right for her client.

Steve brings a wealth of people management and commercial experience to our business. Prior to launching Pennine HR with Lynn he had worked his way up the career ladder from warehouse picker to board director of a £200 million advertising agency.

He has managed teams throughout his career and so understands the importance of employee relationships and motivation. His role includes developing and managing employee engagement surveys, internal communication strategies and providing a manager’s perspective on our HR advice.

Leonie Whittaker

We are delighted to add Leonie Whittaker to our team. She has over 15 years HR and management experience gained in the manufacturing and finance / professional services sectors during which time she has gained extensive operational and business knowledge.

In addition to being a CIPD qualified professional, Leonie is a trained Mental Health First Aider.

Nicola Sheriff

HR Advisor Nicola Sheriff has several years HR experience gained in with a national retailer and manufacturer. In addition to working with the rest of the team dealing with the wide variety of HR queries and situations that our clients receive support for, Nicola will be closely involved in our recruitment activities and supporting clients who use the BreatheHR system.

After extensive research and trialling, we selected BreatheHR as our online HR management provider. BreatheHR helps take the hard work out of managing employee data (for us and our clients).  Employee data and documentation is held in a secure, centralised online system that also helps you comply with GDPR.

We have the capability to customise reports which provide you with key people and performance information which helps you run and build your business.

Key features include performance and absence management, employee record storage, online holiday booking and expenses management.

Forget Me Not Children’s Hospital

We are proud to support the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. We were founder members of their 99 Business Club and have pledged our ongoing support.  They do an amazing job! Here’s what they do in their own words:

“Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice provides care and support to children with life shortening conditions and their families across West Yorkshire and North Manchester. We are here for families from as early as pregnancy onwards. Whether that is through offering respite, hydrotherapy, music therapy, counselling or bereavement support, we are here to say “yes” to children and their families.

When we say ‘yes’ to a family, we begin our care not just for the child, but for the whole family. We’re led by a highly specialist team of nurses & therapists who deliver our fantastic services, and they do it so well that the CQC rates our children’s hospice as ‘outstanding’. Our state-of-the-art children’s hospice building in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, is the heart of all our services and is designed to be a real home from home for our families. However, virtually all of our services are also available through ‘Hospice at Home’ including clinical care for the children, counselling and even help with household chores.”
